My hairdresser gave me a boy haircut! I want to cry and my mom is freaking out!!!?

I just got a haircut a few minutes ago, I asked my hairdresser for a layered haircut, 1 inch away from my chin I even showed her what I wanted. I look so ugly. Plus my hair is curling up, I usually have straight hair but now that I cut it, it's curling up!WTF, any advice?I don't have a straighting iron or blow drying ): since I don't need them. Is there any gel product I could use? She also gave me "emo" bangs which I hate.
