Intrusted in wichcraft.?

I have done some research (and yes, I know I have sooo much more to do) and want to know more about witchcraft and magick. Before I try casting any spells I want to do a lot of studying, so any information you give is helpful. I'm not really interested in Wicca, which if I'm not mistaken to practice witchcraft you don't have to be a Wiccan. Also, I'm not in it just for the magick aspect but for the pure fact that witchcraft has fascinated me my entire life (and not that fake magic in Harry Potter). Any information is appreciated :)
