People interpreting bf's pet name the wrong way...?

Hey, HIS imagination ran away with him; how is that your problem? You don't want to go through life feeling responsible for everything a person might conceivably misinterpret or misconstrue. You know what you meant, you meant what you meant, so that's the end of it. Truthfully, he shouldn't even be in this in the first place; it was a private talk he read over your shoulder. Permission to eavesdrop isn't the same as an invitation into the discussion.
